What Is the Test Format of the SAT Examination?

In the year 2016, the authorizing body for SAT exam had completely changed the format of the examination. According to the body, these changes would allow the university to get better quality students. Many students would find these changes pretty favorable for them. The New Structure of the Examination:
There are some huge differences between the old format and the new format of the SAT examination. Students taking SAT Exam Preparation would have to prepare in a completely way for this new format. In the old format, there were a total of 10 sections. The length of each section in the old format was different. In the old format, there was an experimental section that would mess up with the mind of the candidates.

Reading Section:
The duration of the reading section would be about 65 minutes. Candidates would have to face about 52 questions in this section. There would be five passage with each passage having 10 to 13 questions. Mathematics Section (Without Calculator):

This section would cover advanced Mathematics, Algebra and additional topics that include geometry, complex number, and trigonometry. 

Mathematics Section (With Calculator):
The duration of this section is about 55 minutes, where you would be able to use the calculator. There would be a total of 38 questions in this section. This section would also test the similar skill areas of the Math without calculator section. They would consist of algebra, advanced maths with data analysis and problem-solving.
